Huastec Pottery Ballplayer, central Mexico, early classic, Ca. 300 - 600 A.D. He has wide hips and hands clasp at waist, wearing a tall black and white plumed headdress, massive double ear ornaments and a turtle shell pendant. Nice remains of original surface pigmentation. Right lower leg restored. 5-3/4" tall + custom mount. A rare example.
