Authentic Pre-Columbian Stirrup-spouted Figural Vessel from the Chimu Culture dating from the Late Intermediate Period circaAD. This piece from the Northern Coastal Area of Peru is in the shape of a kneeling man, probably a priest or prince due to the positioning of hands. Figural has his hands in prayer position while kneeling, with lozenge-shapped eyes, high cheekbones, protruding nose, and pleasant grin. Artifact is in overall black color, in very good condition with a small repair at the stirrup-spout.
This artifact was released from Doctor's established private collection, of which numerous pieces sold through top New York City Galleries as well as the large auction houses. Guaranteed Authentic Artifact- a great addition to any collection.
