Pre-1908 Luger by DWM showing no hold open or stock lug, serial number 36568. This 9 mm Luger shows early proofs on left side of breech and regimental markings on inside of strap 112. R. 2.1. All matching visibleserial numbers and side plate shows extra number 56 at center of side plate in an oversized die stamp. This oversized number generally denotes Arsenal or German rework and the correct matching number is on thebottom of side plate in the normal area. Approximately 90% to 95% of this old Arsenal type refinish remains with good strong traces of straw finish on trigger and small parts. The grips are good to very good with somewear and minor chips. The clip is of the era but not matching. The interior is polished correctly and the bore is bright. A brown leather holster of the period with extra clip and takedown tool are included and shows anImperial crown with letter I. on the back. The holster shows some cracking but is generally good and has had the tab and buckle replaced. A very interesting Luger that most collectors and dealers would not say was
