Pr Ranulph Bye Landscape Prints, #1 Country House and #2 Landscape with Bridge, measure 18''L x 12''H, the bottom of each print reads: ''Arthur A. Kaplan Co., Inc. N.Y.C. No. VX-234'' and ''Arthur A. Kaplan Co., Inc. N.Y.C. No. VX-235, both prints are on stiff cardstock board and CANNOT be rolled to ship, Artist Bio: ''Ranulph Bye was born in 1916 in Princeton, NJ. Ranulph (De Bayeux) Bye was active/lived in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey. Ranulph Bye was known for regional scene, buildings, seascape. He attended the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art, now Philadelphia College of Art, and the Art Students League in New York. His paintings have received national recognition, and he has exhibited in the National Academy of Design, the American Watercolor Society, and Allied Artists. He is described as ''one of the foremost watercolorists in the country, who since 1953 painted over three-thousand watercolor scenes, mostly rural American landscapes, seascapes, rural America and buildings, especially Victorian style for his book, ''Victorian Sketchbook''.
