Unique and although small quite unique.</em></td>

<tr>
<td width="100%">
We offer a pair of splendid fayence mid-18th century pots that are beautifuly decorated with various designs, including plats and flowers
To the top of each is a snake in clay.
To the base of one is a cock as used by Kerkof in the Netherlands in the mid-18th century. On the other pot which is almost identical the mark is obscured. The underlying glaze is almost a pale green and the lips of the jars are a yellow occhre.
There are a few vey minor chips but much better than most fayence of the period, and one snake appears to have a partial loop gone.
