Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer T, quadrants of cross transposed, 4R-sized shield and cross, new style of lions (1620-21), Grade 2. S-P21; KM-10. 18.27 grams. Deceptively small flan (part of edge lost to corrosion) with 4R-sized shield and cross but clear denomination o-VIII (and too heavy for a 4R), also with clear assayer T and bottom half of I6Z of date visible, a very strange error-coin. With Fisher tag and certificate 85A-245011, pedigreed to the RWB Reference Collection of Atocha dated cobs. Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida
