This set from the Postal Commemorative Society includes an uncirculated 1890 Morgan Silver Dollar minted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The coin is struck in 90% silver and features the classic Morgan design by engraver George T. Morgan. The obverse displays the left-facing profile of Liberty, adorned with a Phrygian cap, flora, and a crown bearing the word LIBERTY. Thirteen stars encircle the image, along with the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM and the year 1890. The reverse showcases an eagle with outstretched wings clutching an olive branch and arrows, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Inscriptions on the reverse include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR.
