Manufactured in 1919. Blade front and "U" notch rear sights on slide with the two line, two block address and patent dates split with the Rampant Colt on the left side, "COLT AUTOMATIC/ CALIBRE 45" on the right ahead of the ejector port. Standard markings on the right side of the frame, with "VP" and "22" on the left side of the trigger guard. Wide checkered hammer, long smooth trigger, short grip safety, checkered slide stop, thumb safety and magazine catch, and smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard ring. Grips are checkered walnut with diamond patterns, and the magazine is marked "B" on the toe.

Very fine, with 80% of the faded original blue finish, showing streaks of brown patina, scratches, bright wear along the high edges, and scattered spotting. Grips are very good, with dents and flat spots. Mechanically excellent.
