This is an excellent example of an early post WWI 1921 P.08 Luger Weimar Police Luger. The top of the chamber is marked "1921" indicating the year with the front toggle assembly correctly marked "DWM" for Deutsche Waffen und Munitions Fabriken, the manufacturer. The top of the barrel is has an eagle over “Ar” proof mark. Under the barrel is marked, “9033” and under that “8,82”. The left side of the luger is marked the serial number “9033” and the reoccurring “33” on each piece (denoting that this is an all matching original condition firearm) and “Gesichert”. The right side of the piece is marked only with three proof marks, two appear to be “AR.A.W.” and the center one being “Wo.A.A.” Under the grip the pistol is marked, “S.I.D. 103.X.” The pistol comes with one stainless steel magazines with an aluminum base marked, “2” and “9033”. The firearm is in a 9mm Luger caliber and is a rare post World War I original Republic issue piece. Possibly could have been later used as a “Sneak” Nazi Police Luger. The pistol is in overall rare good condition for its age

This is a legal agreement between you, the user or buyer, and North American Auction Company. You must be at least 18 years old to bid. North American Auction Company. All purchases must be removed from the auction site without damaging any property and within the time announced or posted. Terms: All items sell AS IS - WHERE IS WITH ALL FAULTS and with no warranty of any type expressed or implied as to the merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose of any goods offered in this sale. All sales are made on an AS IS - WHERE IS WITH ALL FAULTS basis. All buyers are urged to physically inspect the item during the inspection period. No bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. In the event of legal proceedings arising from this contract or from the auction in connection therewith, buyer consents to being subject to the personal jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Montana. Buyer also agrees that venue shall be in Gallatin County, Montana and that the laws of the State of Montana shall govern this Agreement and the parties' transaction hereunder. The BUYER expressly agrees to indemnify and save the Auction Co., Seller and their assigns harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage or liability, (including, but not limited to, attorney's fees), directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from Buyer's negligent acts or omissions or breach of this agreement, except for damages caused by or resulting from the Auction Co.'s sole negligence. All items must be paid for prior to removal; if storage arrangements are not made in advance of bidding on items. Storage will start March 22th 2015 and will be charged $10 per day per item. If there is a dispute on the authenticity of an item, the only professional opinion that will be considered is from a curator of a well-known museum.
