Post- Magadha Mahajanapadha, Silver Karshapana, Malwa Region, (c. 200-100BC), G&H#640? Obv: 6 armed symbol, 3 arched hill with crescent, 3 oval shapes with a cross line, dot with 2 crescents, Rev: traces of a countermark.
A dot with four crescents is an unusual mark on the obverse as it generally occurs on the reverse, Mitchner encountered a similar coin with a sun symbol missing ref. Mitchiner 2004, cf 4703-4704, this seems to be a better specimen as mitchner encountered a coin with only two symbols- 6 armed symbol and oval shaped symbol, the other two symbols were not clear. Unusual, XF, Extremely rare.
