This portfolio “Mother Goose Collection” with six serigraphs which illustrate one rhymes of the Mother-Goose-collection was made in New York in 1985 by Serigrafia, Limited. The illustrations are printed on Rives BFK hand-made paper. You find all lines on the inside of the box cover together with the illustrating artist.



The portfolio contains the following serigraphs:

‘Mother Goose’ by Maurice Sendak (1928-2012)

‘Around the green gravel’ by Chris van Allsburg (born 1994)

‘The cat and the fiddle’ by Daniel Pelavin

‘The tart’ by Barry Moser (born 1940)

‘Three children on the ice’ by Guy Billout (born 1941)

‘The Kilkenny cats’ by Seymour Chwast (born 1931)



All prints are signed and numbered with pencil ‘26/300’. Each print has a pergamin jacket with title inscription. The box measures 72.7 x 56.2 cm. The sheet size is 67.3 x 52 cm. The prints are in very good condition. The box is slightly rubbed, the corners are a bit bumped.
