The Tibetan Museum Society, a 501(c)(4) non-profit association,
is a recently formed international civic league of concerned
citizens who wish to advocate museum exhibition of Asian art
from ancient Mongolia and the greater Himalayan
region.

The antique items for sale in this benefit auction are all a part of
our continuing efforts to conserve and share with the world,
important works of Mongolian Buddhist art as well as art from
Tibet, China and the greater Himalayan region. The TMS auction
and gallery are funding sources for our online exhibition, for
which, we conserve many artifacts, photograph them, catalog
them, research them, and include several, among our online
exhibit, which reaches thousands of viewers every month from
over 100 countries. In this way, we are better able to accumulate
a large digital museum that is self-supporting, which allows us
to use donated funds for other significant projects that benefit
all concerned.
