In <B>Porky Pig's Duck Hunt</B></I>, Leon Schlesinger came up with two of the most enduring characters in cartoons. This book introduces us to Porky Pig and his nemesis Daffy Duck. It was written in rhyme and the text is fully illustrated showing Porky's first showdown with Daffy. This lot will be the crown jewel in the next owner's collection. It is a stunning Very Fine with stiff linen-like pages that have that new un-read feel to them. This book measures 9.75" x 12.5" and comprises 12 pages. Seeing as this book was intended for children, it is absolutely amazing that this copy has survived in such beautiful shape. The white cover is still <I>white</B></I> and the colors are unusually bright. Do yourself a favor and take a shot at this one. Overstreet 2003 VF 8.0 value = $438. <B>Estimate: $500-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
