Pope, born Eugenio Maria Giuseppe Giovanni Pacelli (1876–1958), who reigned from 1939 until his death. Apostolic Blessing, signed “Pius pp XII,” 15 x 22, dated July 7, 1949, bestowed upon Albert Goldman and his family, signed at the conclusion by Pius, and bearing a color 7 x 9 reproduction photo of Pius affixed to the upper portion. In fine condition, with some scattered mild toning and a few bends and creases. A large example in a less-commonly seen language.
