Pacelli,” one page, 8 x 10.5, Segreteria Di Stato letterhead, February 25, 1931. Letter to the bisop of Peoria, Illinois. In part: “I have much pleasure in informing you that the Holy Father has duly received…a copy of ‘The White Harvest’ and was gratified with its important contents. In compliance with your request, His Holiness bestows the Apostolic Blessing on the author.” Central horizontal and vertical mailing fold, and a few trivial spots, otherwise fine condition.
