<B>Pope Pius IX Photograph Signed</B></I>, an oval albumen photograph of the pope mounted on a sheet, 4.5" x 6.5", Rome, November 15, 1861. The inscription below the photograph is an Apostolic Benediction to "<I>Monsieur Cornille, Edouard Henri Sous Lieutenant au 29e [Regiment] de ligne</B></I>". Pope Pius signed below the benediction. The sheet also has a red wax papal seal. Rounded corners and a light water stain at the bottom, else near fine.
