Born Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini in Italy in 1897, Paul VI reigned as pope from 1963 until his death in 1978. Christmas card from 1962, signed “G. B. Montini, Arci,” 4.5 x 6.5 closed. Cover bears an artist’s portrait of Jesus and Mary, inside bears a pre-printed Italian sentiment, signed at the conclusion by then-Cardinal Montini, adding a short sentiment above signature. In fine condition, with some light soiling and pencil marks inside, and some mild handling wear. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
