The present aviation clock by the Russian manufacturer Poljot was presumably made in the 1990s. It has a manual wind movement and shows the hour, minute and second. The white dial is fitted with black Arabic numbers and black hands. The watch case is made of stainless steel and has a transparent glass back.



The aviation clock is in good condition with small traces of age and wear. The watch case diameter is 64 mm and the total weight is approximately 205 grams. It was fully functional during a short term test, but long term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed. The watch comes with the original wooden box and a certificate from 1996.



Poljot

Ever since 1930 a muscovite watch manufacturer produces simple, fully mechanical wristwatches. In 1961 the brand “Poljot” is established. Poljot focuses on the production and development of diverse mechanical movements. The producer received special attention when providing the first watch to be worn in space by Juri Gagarin on April 12th 1961. (cbo)
