Polar Bear Rug by Jonas Brothers This is a Trophy Polar Bear which was don by the Jonas Brothers and was Shot by Edgar J. Foss in 1969 at Cape Hope, Alaska. Attached is the story of how this bear was killed and of the Hunter. In summary the hunter, Edgar J. Foss a WWI B-24 Pilot, War Hero, and Newspaper Editor, and the guide were told to find out this wild polar bear which had killed an Eskimo man. They Flew over him and after failing to find him turned back towards their plane and in between them was this giant Polar Bear, he charged and the guide video taped not allowing Egar to shoot finally once he was almost on top them Edgar shot and dropped the bear within 20 yards. This Bear Comes with the kill sire pictures, skull, and this authentic piece of history. Measures from Front Paw to Front Paw is 113", from the Nose to the Back of the Paw is 118", from the Front to the opposite Back Paw is 132", Back Paw is 19", Front Paw is 10" wide at the claws, head on rug is 34" long, skull 17.5" with over 2" front tooth.
