By registering and/or bidding on an item through our auction confirms that you agree with our Terms and Conditions.
In order to bid on the auction, you must register for the auction website, which requires a valid photo ID, and detailed personal information such as address, phone number, email. We also require three references from companies you have previously purchased from. Please have this available upon registration. If you have purchased multiple times on our website, you do not need references. We set a purchase "Limit" per customer account, this limit is based on purchase history. They higher the limit set on your account, the more references, past invoices we might request.
HOW TO BID:
You may send us your bids by email, mail, phone or by bidding on the auction website. You can bid live during the auction event, pre-bid which bids automatically right away on your behalf, or put in a limit which will automatically bid for you during the live auction. All bids by bid sheet or telephone must be completed and received by the auctioneer before 5:00 pm the day prior to the auction or by bidding online during the live session. If you would like to bid online, please first register prior to the live auction. Bidders may register in any of the following ways; by Internet registration, or phone.
No unlimited bids will be accepted. In the event of an identical bid, the auctioneer will give the winning bid to the person who has bid first.
The auctioneer reserves the right to deny a bid from any bidder. In the case of any dispute between bidders the auctioneer shall have the final decision to determine the successful bidder or to reopen bidding.
BUYER’S PREMIUM AND TAXES:
All bidders agree to pay the Buyer's Premiums Fees that are applied to all winning bids. The premium is 20%. If paying by credit card we will be adding an additional 3%. All orders above $1000.00 must be paid via Cheque, Money Order, E-Transfer or Wire. Please view the Tax Tab, to see applicable taxes to Canadian buyers.
PAYMENTS:
ALL LOTS MUST BE PAID FOR BEFORE SHIPMENT. All bidders agree to make full payments in Canadian Funds as per the invoiced amount at the end of the auction. All buyers who want to convert CAD to USD or EURO please let us know before the auction. All Purchases made in USD or Euro funds will be accepted at 1% below the current exchange rates. If paying by USD or Euro, payment must be made by wire. All personal cheques must clear our bank before we ship your order. Cheque clearing can take up to 15 business days. No Items will be released or shipped to any bidder until their payment has been fully cleared. The Auctioneer reserves the right to request up to 20% deposits prior to bidding on certain lots deemed necessary by the sole discretion of the Auctioneer. Any deposits collected that cannot be applied to winning bids will be refunded back to the bidder within 48 hours of the end of the auction. We cannot be held responsible or liable for refunds that are delayed by banking institutions. If you require special payment conditions these must be presented to the Auctioneer and accepted prior to bidding.
We, the auctioneer, have the sole right to end the auction at any moment for any reasons deemed reasonable by the auctioneer. The Auctioneer will exercise to the best of their power to ensure that all items being sold in the auction are described and photographed to the best of our abilities. We cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions (within reason, determined by the auctioneer) that may occur in either the catalog, internet, or verbal statements. Bidders will automatically be forbidden from participating in any future auctions if their winning bids have not been paid for within 15 days of the conclusion of the auction. Please note anyone with unpaid invoices will be unable to participate in any future auctions until the full payment has been received.
RETURNS:
Returns will only be accepted by the auctioneer in the case of an item being deemed fraudulent or altered in a malicious way. (NO RETURNS on bulk lots or any lot that contains more than 4 items). All returns must be received back within 7 days of receiving your winning lots. Return lots must be in all original packaging and condition as sold in auction, any items that have been opened or altered in any way will be void of any return privileges. Any disputes regarding lots that are not brought to the auctioneer's attention within 28 days will forfeit all rights to return your items under any circumstances.

FOR BIDDERS OUTSIDE OF CANADA & US:
All bidders outside of Canada are responsible for SHIPPING, DUTIES or any IMPORT FEES associated with delivering your auction purchases. If you choose Chit Chat Express / Post NL (least expensive) for shipping outside of Canada and US. Please be aware that the maximum insurance coverage is $300 USD. Packages sent by Chit Chat express / Post NL can NOT BE RETURNED by postal service, they are deemed lost if not picked up, or duties / import fees are not paid, this may also void the insurance. For more expensive packages we recommend Canada Post or Fedex for shipping. Shipments with Canada Post / Fedex will be insured up to $5000 CAD, per package.
