Polacca Polychrome Jar,
circa 1880. Concave base, with flaring sides, and short rim. Painted with four black floral devices and three perched birds, the decorative panel bordered three black lines at the top, and two at the base, and with interior of rim and lip painted in red; 6.5" high x 9" diameter. Deaccessioned from the Western Reserve Historical Society of Cleveland, Ohio. Minor surficial soiling and wear, old paper label "1215" on base, with "S.P. Baldwin #12 and museum accession number "42.1213." on base.
