This is the second printing of the second separate edition of Poe’s narrative, with 3 illustrations and a letter dated March 5, 1923 from Poe to Brininstool not in the first edition, which was limited to 350 copies. Another issue [this copy], with the price (75 cents) plainly printed on the front wrapper, also limited to 250 copies. “The Only Truthful and Accurate Account of the Killing of This Young Deserado”, John W. Poe was a member of the Sheriff’s posse.
