Pocket or belt pistol possibly American converted from flintlock to percussion circa early 1800's converted in American Blacksmith style about 1850's. The hammer is crudely forged as is the squared bolster. The pistol is plainly made withhand filed and crudley cast mounts with primitive brass inlays at breech in decorative motiff. The stocks show cleaning, repair and small losses. The metail is good. Old period ram-rod included. Action not holding on full-cock. Est. $250 -$500
