<B>Pleasanton, KS</B></I> - $10 1929 Ty. 1 <B>The First NB</B></I> Ch. # 8803<BR> A very rare note from the only issuer in Linn County. This was one of the smallest banks in the state, operating with a capital of just $12,500, and issuing a mere $95,000 in currency during its 28 year issuing period. This piece is the Lyons collection example, which sold back in 1995 for $500. The Kelly census shows just one large and three small examples extant from here.
