Bound volume of 24 Playbills from the 1950s, nine signed on the cover by several of that performance’s stars. Signers include: Audrey Hepburn, Doris Patston, Michael Evans, and Francis Compton (Gigi); June Havoc, Reginald Owen, and Barbara O’Neil (Affairs of State); Kim Hunter, Richard Poston, Kim Stanley, John Hodiak, and Murray Hamilton (The Chase); Sheila Bond, Jack Cassidy, and Paul Valentine (Wish You Were Here); John Ericson, Mike Kellin, Laurence Hugo, Robert (Bob) Shawley, Harvey Lembeck, Allan Melvin, Mark Roberts, and two others (Stalag 17); Martha Scott, Louise Larabee, Peggy Nelson, Dane Clark, Luis Van Rooten, and one other (The Number); Alan Webb, David Niven, and Gloria Swanson (Nina); and Mary James, Geraldine Page, Edgar Stehli, Robert (Bob) Emmett, Paul Andor, Mark Stevens, and two others (Midsummer). Light scattered handling wear, toning, scattered soiling with a few tears to some of the pages, and the performance dates for many noted in pencil by the original owner, otherwise overall very good to fine condition. Accompanied by a second bound volume of 22 unsigned Playbills from the 1960s. All of the programs are removable. A wonderful collection spanning nearly the whole decade of the 1950s and including many of the all-time great Broadway productions.
