(Plantation) DS, "An Inventory and appraisement of the personal Estate and Slaves of Samuel W Warren deceased...", 9pp, Oct 5, 1839, 8vo, Lincoln County, Kentucky. Listed on the first page are 15 slaves owned by Warren, by name, sex, and appraised values. The account continues with numerous entries of personal implements, with an additional appraised value of nearly $20,000.00. The account concludes with a listing of Warren's liabilities. 14 pages in all, with 9 filled in, and string stitched. Signed on page 5 by three appraisers. The last page is signed, "Witness Thomas Helm, clerk, Lincoln County Court." Thomas Helm (1772-1852), served as clerk of the Lincoln County court from 1810 to 1851.
