marked Davidson Cincinatti to the lock with 36: octagon barrel and double set triggers. Caliber measures approx. 44, the stock with German silver escutcheons, iron trigger guard and butt plate, pewter fore end cap. Stock shows old cracks oneither side of hammer and at rear of lock plate. Wrist has never been broken and show old checkering now worn smooth. Metal surfaces retain a gray brown patina, action is mechanically good, rifle measures 53" overall. No FFL required.
