Plains Stick Game in Beaded Hide Bag
The lot features a cross beaded hide bag with red painted stick game from the Plains Indians of the mid-to-late 20th Century. The back Is tanned hide with a cross and beaded bottom border in wound glass pony6 beads of white, cobalt and pink. The bag has a hide tie that has a section of parfleche rawhide with a carved stick through it on as well as three carved bone rings on the other side. Inside the bag consists of approx. 19 sticks of a similar length and varying thicknesses that are all painted red. There are frilly fringes at the bottom. The bag itself is 13"L by 4.5"W not including the tie and wooden dowl stick tied on the end.
