Plains Indian war club circa 1870s to 1890s with quill work and fringed drop on trade cloth with Indian brain tanned hide holding stone. Also the club shows matching quill work decoration around the head. The club measures 36” to the end of the fringe. Just the type favored by Indian warriors mounted on horseback and probably Sioux made near Kansas. The condition is good with some minor losses and normal aging. Est.: $750-$1,500.
