The lot features a collection of three Plains Native American Indian wood shaft arrows from the 19th to 20th century. The first is an early circa 19th century Southern Plains arrow with worked wood shaft rawhide wrappings, ocher mineral painted accents, and a chert hafted early arrowhead. The other two are Plains or carved wood shaft arrows with rawhide wrappings, dyed turkey feather fletching with various 19th century glass trade beads, and forged iron arrowheads typical of the Apache or Sioux Native American Indians both being from the Late 19th to late 20th century. Southern Plains arrow is 25 5/8"L with a 1.5"L arrowhead. The other two are 25.25"L and 27"L respectively.
