This very high quality Art Deco pink satin glass dresser or powder jar was produced during the 1920s-1930s, presumably by Frances Mandel, Boston or perhaps for them as another one in our collection bears their label. Octagonal shaped with four 2 inch scalloped bordered sides and four 1 1/2 inch sides that are intricately pressed with several poses of a beautiful lady who is lightly draped with a thin diaphonous shawl. The lid and finial have a raised and ornately sculpted Art Deco design. This exquisite and unusual powder jar with lid measures 5 inches tall x 4 1/2 inches across the footed base, and is in excellent condition.
