Original Pink Panther Hand-Painted Production Animation Cel Setup & Painted Background | | Original vintage Pink Panther production animation artwork, featuring multiple hand-painted character cel layers depicting the Pink Panther dressed as a theatre usher alongside a young movie patron carrying popcorn and a beverage. The cels are accompanied by an original hand-painted theatre/lobby production background and retain visible animation registration holes, production numbers and studio notations, including “58,” “14-58,” “69” and “BG-56.” | | The separate transparent animation layers can be viewed individually or assembled over the painted background to create the completed production scene, providing an excellent example of the traditional cel-animation process. Includes additional painted theatre imagery as photographed. Unframed; condition shows expected production and handling wear, tape and edge markings consistent with studio use. | | Attribution: Pink Panther / DePatie-Freleng-era production animation artwork. Exact production/episode presently unconfirmed.
