Pink Floyd 1966 Very Early "Psychedelic Pop" London Concert Poster. An original London, England advertising poster for one of rock's true giants, Pink Floyd, way back before they had a manager, a record label or even Dave Gilmour in the group. This is the total Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd holding down a one-month residency when they were totally unknown, relegated to just the fine print on an advertising poster.

This red yellow poster on very thin paper is headlined "Get Your Kicks – November '66" and advertises five Tuesday evenings in that month which featured the wild, mixed-media psychedelic ‘happenings' that were so prominent in 1966. What the Grateful Dead were to Ken Kesey's Acid Tests and the Velvet Underground were to Andy Warhol's Plastic Inevitable Shows, The Pink Floyd were to these Psychedelic Pop events.

In November '66 the Floyd consisted of founding members Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. It would be four months before EMI released their first single, "Arnold Layne" b/w "Candy and a Currant Bun." At this point in time, they were phasing out their early RB repertoire and leaning heavily into Syd's new sonic experimentations. Measures 20" x 22 3/4" and grades to Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
