Pin fire revolver with folding knife blade, circa 19th century, 5.5mm pin fire. The blade is marked “Brevete S.G.D.G.” and shows “S.B.” makers mark. The pistol portion measure 5-1/2” and is mounted with hornscales or grips. The knife pistol measures 9-1/4” overall when blade is extended. The metal surfaces are nickel plated and approx 75% remains showing some light pitting and erosion where the nickel has lifted. Actionis working, generally very good overall, circa 1850-1870’s. Last sold Richard K. Bourne catalogue of James Elwood Jones collection 1981. From an old New York collector’s estate. Est.;$1,000-$2,000.
