Superior third baseman and Hall of Famer (1899–1972). Vintage glossy 6 x 8 news service photo of Traynor in his Pittsburgh Pirates uniform, signed in blue ink. A July 20, 1937 date-stamp appears on the reverse with a portion of the original paper caption. In fine condition, with scattered creasing. Traynor batted .320 during his 17-year career and never struck out more than 28 times in a season.
