Large format book titled Picture Lessons measuring 15.5 x 12 with cloth boards. Book presents moral stories with each accompanied by a full-page illustration. Book includes 10 one page stories but book does not exhibit title page, title represented on front cover. Volume published by the American Sunday School Union, 140 Chestnut St., Philadelphia. Interior graphics exhibit some minor foxing. Cloth cover exhibits hard wear with spine weakness, several pages loose. Back two fly leaves exhibit missing fragment. Circa early/mid 19th C. Book is housed in cloth clamshell case.
