<td width="100%">
Beautiful Pickard China hand painted plate on a Limoges porcelain blank. It measures just under 9" in diameter, and is signed EF (i.e., Emil J.T. Fischer). Fischer came directly to Pickard upon his emigration to the U.S. in 1904. The plate is triple stamped with the brown 9/16" Pickard China mark used during the period 1903 thru 1905, a red Design Patent stamp dated February 7, 1905, as well as a Limoges mark. This beauty was identified by author Alan Reed as AUTUMN BORDER, in his book, Collector's Encyclopedia of Pickard China. NOTE: The 12 1/2" chop plate in the exact same pattern and shape can be seen in Reed's book on page 132, plate 175. The condition is excellent.
