The photographs depict the Russian sports official at visits in Star City and in Baikonur, as well as photographs of his private life

Ivan G. Borisenko (1921-2014) was a Russian sports official, who was responsible for the reports of manned space missions. This collection of photographs shows him in Star City and in Baikonur together with cosmonauts and other figure of the Russian space program. Included are for example photographs of Borisenko and Gagarin, Borisenko at the launch site, Borisenko at the landing site and Borisenko with Leonov. In addition, there are photographs of his private life, for example Borisenko making a toast.



The photographs are partly verso inscribed and stamped in Cyrillic ‘Photo Alexey Ivanov’ or ‘Photo Igor Snegirevo, Moscow’. The photographs are in good condition with traces of wear. The dimensions are max. 18 x 25 cm.
