Chromogenic print of Marilyn wrapped up in a woollen sweater signed by George Barris. Measuring 14x10 inches featuring the artist's signature in ink recto. Copyright stamped by Edward Weston on verso. Mounted and framed.

This photo was one of the very last to be taken of Marilyn. George Barris remembers: "Late in the afternoon it turned cold and Marilyn was tired. We'd been working hard. She didn't complain, though, and she sat on the beach wrapped in a fisherman's sweater, so I put a blanket over her."

In spite of her reputation, George Barris remembers Marilyn very fondly. At the end of this now legendary final shoot, Marilyn created a very special memory for her favourite photographer: "She puckered up and said, This is just for you, George, and blew a kiss to me."
