5.75 x 7.5" unmounted platinum photograph, the scene identified in the negative, with Booth Photo. A fine photograph, capturing miners in the act of discovery.

In 1902 gold was discovered near present day Tonapah, Nevada. What started as a few tents of miners, grew to a town of over 25,000-30,000 by 1908. Red Top was but one of the mines in the Goldfield region, which collectively produced over $86 million in gold between about 1904-1940.
