This was a famous mine in Arizona. Vulture Mine is a gold mine & abandoned settlement nestled into the breathtaking landscape of the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. The settlement, named Vulture City, was established in 1866, and developed to meet the needs of Arizona's most successful gold mine. The town population quickly rose to 5,000 residents. From 1863 to 1942, the mine produced 340,000 oz. of gold & 260,000 oz. of silver & has been credited with founding the town of Wickenburg. 1) Lease with itemized chart of moneys required in January 1939.
