Phonograph attachment dancing jig figure of black woman, Shimandy, attaches to the phonograph and dances with the music as the record plays. Figure’s dress is pale blue and made of a very thin, slightly shiny material. There is some soiling of dress. Body parts are mainly wood. Head and arms are attached by springs. Legs hinged at knee. Lower half of body is a spring. Feather in cap. Some paint on face has flaked away. Figure measures approximately 6" long. By National Co., Boston, Mass. Patented March 16, 1915.
