On sale is a very rare "Phoenician Blue Glass Bead" circa 400B.C. to 200 B.C. Featured is a classic example of Phoenician glass craftsmanship. Known for their core formed and the trailing of molten glass, this deep blue bead was elaborately swirled into a stylistic coiled snake. It has wonderful iridescent and refractive qualities with some encrustation at the inner center core. This ancient thick glass piece is in superb condition.
