He writes, in full: "<I>P. L. The Greatest Show on Earth closes its season at Lynchburg, Va. This week Saturday… and … immediately to its Thirteen Quarters at Bridgeport, Conn. Its receipts grew larger and larger every year but the show itself and expenses grew larger in proportion, so that its net profits are annually less. We open in New York City with new and enormously expensive varieties in the American Institute Building 5 avenue & 65th St next Spring.
