<B>Philippines</B></I> 20 Pesos Philippine National Bank Circulating Note Face Proof 1919 Pick UNL<BR>This is an exciting Proof from a period in United States paper money history when it was decided to reduce the size of Philippine paper money in the second decade of the 1900s. This experiment proved very successful and it led directly to the United States' reducing the size of its own paper money in 1929. This Proof could be considered for a Phillipines or United States collection. The portrait is of Congressman William A. Jones, who was chairman of the Committee on Insular Affairs until his death in office on April 17, 1918.
