A large detailed bill made out to Philip Livingston, amounting to 77 pounds, 2 shillings, and 10 pence. Livingston signs the bill in the lower left corner. The Verso shows credits to Philip's account. Livingston was a merchant and statesman from New York; he served on the Continental Congress and signed the Declaration of Independence. This document is an interesting look at colonial bookkeeping.

The document is very fine condition; usual folds are present; some separation occurring along fold lines; mounting traces on the lower edge of verso. Included with the document is an engraving of Livingston; slightly water-damaged but still nice for display! From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
