Dust jacket has three small brown pieces of tape on the verso, reinforcing the head and tail of the spine, and the closed tear at the top of the rear panel. The tape is not visible from the front of the dust jacket. Overall near fine condition.<BR><BR>This "alternative history" novel by science-fiction ace Philip K. Dick, suggesting what may have happened if the Axis powers had won World War II, won the Hugo Award in 1962. Accustomed to writing quickly as a way of supporting himself and his wife, Dick had the luxury of writing several drafts for this novel, resulting in one of his best and most brilliant literary efforts.
