He writes "<I>My beloved Child, I am very anxious to receive a line from you, not having had one for some time past and I always receive so much pleasure from your letters that I am unhappy when you do not write. I am so much recovered that I walk and ride about and hope soon to be perfectly restored...</B></I>" With integral address leaf addressed in his hand with an "ALBANY * June 29" postmark and stamped "PAID".
