Philadelphia percussion derringer by Slotter but marked J. Derringer who was a taylor that allowed Slotter to use his name infringing on the design of Henry Deringer. The pistol measures 5-1/2” overall with 2” barrel of .41 caliber showing six (6) groove rifling and styled closely after Deringers design. The metal surfaces are in very good condition with traces of finish and good patina. There are some minor marks and normal aging. Thestocks are very good plus with slight wear and minute imperfections. Action is good and very good overall. Est.; $1,750-$3,500
