Poster measures 19’’x 8 ¼’’. In good condition with some wear. Sides are worn with small tears and water damage is seen on the top right and the two bottom left corners. Two creases appear on the poster from being folded in the past. Printed by the Duross Bros. located in Philadelphia at Black Horse Alley. Adverstizes a night of “extraordinary attraction!” at the American Coliseum. Performances by Ida Wells, “the most beautiful and accomplished lady Vocalist.” French trapeze artist, Mons. Oram. Spanish and French dancers; Kate Carson and Kate Davenport. A small group of musicians play after the main performers, playing the banjo, piano, coronet, harp and violin. At the bottom it reads a “pleasing burlesque” will occurred after every performance. Cost for admission ranges from 10 cents to 15 cents. Also comes with smaller reprinted copy of poster.
